The seminar is divided into three sessions. Speakers include the Chief Executive Officers of three groups which are partners with TAIB Bank in important real estate investments in the U.S. and U.K. In addition, the CEO of a prominent GCC financial institution that is developing landmark real estate projects in the Gulf will also address the audience.
The moderator for the sessions is Mr. Nicholas Clegg. Mr. Clegg was previously a director of Hill Samuel Co Ltd, Co-Chairman of Daiwa Europe Ltd and Chairman of Daiwa Europe Bank plc.
He also served as a director of the International Primary Markets Association and a senior adviser to the Bank of England on banking supervision. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of United Trust Bank Limited, London , and Chairman of the Daiwa Anglo Japanese Foundation.
Session One - USA :
“Opportunities in Residential and Retail Real Estate In The USA ”
Interest rates have started to move up in the U.S. , creating a very different investment environment. This part of the seminar will focus on the impact of higher borrowing costs on residential real estate investments. Speakers will discuss real estate prospects in a higher-rate environment and then highlight attractive niche investment opportunities in the retail sector in Florida .
